Park and Ride allows you the flexibility of using your own vehicle for a portion of your commute, while saving you the cost of a parking permit on campus and the headache of driving into the isthmus area.

Lot 202: Park Street and Wingra Drive Park and Ride with Shuttle

Available for the 2013-14 Parking Year!

The University of Wisconsin will operate a park and ride lot and shuttle system beginning September 3, 2013. Lot 202 is located at South Park Street and West Wingra Drive. You must purchase a park and ride permit to use the lot and shuttle.

Lot 202 details:

  • Lot operating hours will be 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Lot will be closed on state holidays and from December 24 through January 2 each year
  • A no fare shuttle will be available to permit holders 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Shuttle will run approximately every 30 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will run approximately every 15 minutes from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • The shuttle will have limited express stops at Lot 202, 21 N. Park Street, Van Hise, the Natatorium and at UW Hospital
  • The shuttle will accommodate wheelchairs
Lot 203: Hill Farms Park and Ride with Shuttle

Available for the 2013-14 Parking Year!

The University of Wisconsin will operate a park and ride lot and shuttle system beginning September 3, 2013. Lot 203 is located at the Hill Farms State Office Building. You must purchase a park and ride permit to use the lot and shuttle.

Lot 203 details:

  • Lot operating hours will be 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Lot will be closed on state holidays
  • A no fare shuttle will be available to permit holders 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Shuttle will run approximately every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will run approximately every 15 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • The shuttle will have limited express stops at Lot 203, University Station, UW Hosptial, the Natatorium, MSC and Henry Mall (at University Avenue)
  • The shuttle will accommodate wheelchairs
Lot 200: University Research Park
  • 510 Charmany Drive (official address, but park and ride is located off Science Drive between Whitney Way and Mineral Point Road, see map below)
  • Served by routes 6 and 11 (serves park and ride directly)
