N. Charter Street traffic closure hours expanded
N. Charter Street from W. Johnson Street to University Avenue is closed in both directions from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. One lane of southbound traffic is available in evening and early morning hours.
Observatory Drive limited traffic September 22
Observatory Drive along Bascom Hill will undergo manhole draining on September 22, limiting traffic flow through the area.
Linden Drive near Walnut Street closed September 19
Access to Linden Drive and Lot 59 from Walnut Street will be closed September 19 while a crane works on the Cogeneration Facility.
Elm Drive closed on September 25
Elm Drive will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 25 for lift station repair work, making Lot 37 and 664 temporarily inaccessible.
Ironman to cause campus detours
The Madison Ironman is Sunday, Sept. 9. The marathon route impacts several campus roads. Expect detours and delays.
Part 2 of repaving University Bay Drive begins
The repaving project on University Bay Drive by Lot 60 and 76 has resumed. Access to the lots will be available at all times.
W. Johnson Street lane closures continue into September
Delays have set the construction work on W. Johnson Street back. Lane closures will continue until September 21.
City of Madison flooding and road closures
Water levels in the Yahara Chain of Lakes are extremely high. The City has closed some roads and transit has been rerouted.
Madison Mini-Marathon to restrict campus roads on August 18
A half marathon and 5K race will pass through campus on Saturday, Aug. 18, causing some road restrictions, bus detours, and traffic delays between 7 a.m. and noon.
