The University Bicycle Resource Center (UBRC) provides a do-it-yourself space and free bicycle classes for the entire UW campus community.

The UBRC is located in the Helen C. White Garage (Lot 6), in the northeast corner of the ground level of the parking garage. Find on Google Maps.

Summer and Fall 2025
Monday | 1 – 8 p.m. |
Tuesday | 8 – 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 – 8 p.m. |
Wednesday | 8 – 10:30 a.m. and 4 – 8 p.m. |
Thursday | 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 – 8 p.m. |
Friday | 2:30 – 7 p.m. |
The UBRC does not have staffed hours on weekends or UW legal holidays.
The University Bicycle Resource Center is open for do-it-yourself bicycle tune-ups. We provide:
- Do-it-yourself space and free use of tools, air pump and grease, lube and other supplies as available
- Bicycle repair manuals
- Bicycle maps
- Active transportation expertise of our student employees
The UBRC is staffed by Commuter Solutions student employees who work to encourage the use of active and alternative forms of transportation — especially bicycling, walking, and transit.

UBRC classes
All events are free and open to the UW community. Classes are held in the University Bicycle Resource Center. Attendance is a first-come, first-served and no registration is required.
