UW Athletics Events

UW Badger football games take place at Camp Randall Stadium.

UW Athletics Season Parking

UW Athletics sells football parking (including accessible parking) in advance on a season basis, and on a single-game basis for accessible parking only.

Single-Game Parking

Single game parking is available for first-come, first-served purchase on game days only. Purchase a parking ticket from the lot attendant. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Bucky Shuttle

Shuttle service is available from Lots 60, 64, and 76, plus other downtown locations. See the Athletics Shuttle Bus Service page for details, costs, and route map.

Game Day Parking Restrictions

Vehicles parked illegally in UW-Madison lots used for football game day parking will be ticketed and towed to Lot 59 at the west end of the campus.

UW Badger Volleyball games are held at the Field House.

  • If lots are not reserved for tennis during regular business hours, stop by Room 124 of the WARF Building (610 Walnut Street) to purchase a permit from our front desk staff.
  • Parking is free in Lot 60 and 82 after 4:30 p.m. and all day on weekends.
  • Vehicles with state-issued disabled hang-tags or plates may park for free in timed parking stalls greater than 25 minutes. Click here for a timed parking stall map.

UW Badger Softball games take place at the Goodman Softball Complex.

UW Athletics does not sell softball parking in advance. Parking is first-come, first-served on game days only.

Parking lots are sometimes reserved for softball games. To find if lots are reserved a specific event, go to the parking events calendar.

  • If lots are not reserved for softball during regular business hours, stop by Room 124 of the WARF Building (610 Walnut Street) to purchase a permit from our front desk staff.
  • Parking is free in Lot 60 and 82 after 4:30 p.m. and all day on weekends, unless otherwise reserved.

Swim meets are held at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center (adjacent to the Nick).

UW Athletics does not sell swim meet parking in advance. Parking is first-come, first-served on meet days only.

  • If lots are not reserved for swimming during regular business hours, stop by the Welcome Center at 21 N. Park Street to purchase a permit from our front desk staff.
  • Parking is free in Lot 94 after 4:30 p.m. and all day on weekends, unless otherwise reserved.

Performances and Cultural Events Parking

Hourly parking is available in parking garages near campus event venues. Pull a ticket on entry, and pay at a pay-on-foot station or at the gate upon exit. Free parking may be available in nearby surface lots after 4:30 on weekdays, and all weekend. If a lot is reserved for an event, you may pay the visitor parking fee upon entry.

WIAA Tournaments

The privilege of hosting the WIAA tournaments on campus is a partnership between UW Athletics, the City of Madison, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, and UW-Madison Transportation Services.

Visitor parking (including accessible parking) is available for $10 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttle service may be available to/from the Alliant Energy Center. For parking details, visit the WIAA website.

Signs mark the way during move-in at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in August.

For each university residence hall, there are multiple options for parking after unloading during move-in and move-out.
