Information for UW Baselot Permit Holders During WIAA Tournaments

The university will host more than 125,000 visitors for the WIAA State High School Tournaments. Permit holders helped make last year's tournament a success, we're hoping you'll help us achieve the same results this year.

Please refer to the chart below if you are a permit holder in lots 29, 46, 83, 87, 91 or 94 to find out where you will be relocated during WIAA Individual Wrestling and Boys Basketball. UW Disabled Permit Holders may relocate to lots below to avoid traffic congestion. You can also use this PDF map to locate relocation lots. Note: The neon "Lot Full" sign for ramps or garage refers to Visitor Parking capacity, NOT permit holder stalls.

For Afternoon and Night Permit Holders in any of the above noted lots:

  • Afternoon permit holders must relocate to Lots 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 21, 22, 30, 44, 68, 69, 78, 81 or 92.
  • Night Surface permit holders must relocate to Lots 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 18, 21, 22, 28, 30, 44, 68, 69, 78, 81, 85 or 92.
  • Lot 29, 46 and 83 Night Garage permit holders must relocate to Lots 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 18, 21, 22, 28, 30, 44, 68, 69, 78, 81, 85 or 92.

This link is to the interactive campus map shows parking lot locations. You do not need to notify UW Transportation Services that you parked in one of these alternate lots during the following WIAA dates:

  • February 23, 24, 25 (Individual Wrestling)
  • March 16, 17, 18 (Boys Basketball)
  • All other dates for the WIAA tournaments are listed here.

  • UW Transportation Services will staff lots 29, 46, 48, 83, 87 and 91. Access will be controlled from 7 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays and 6 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

      Options to consider:
    • Park in an alternate lot and ride the campus bus at no cost.
    • Use your employee bus pass and ride any Metro route. Need a pass? - come to one of our three UW Transportation Services offices (WARF, American Family Children's Hospital Parking Office, or 21 N. Park St.) to pick up a bus pass. Click this link for office locations and hours.
