Nielsen Tennis Stadium Events

During the week before 4:30 p.m., parking is very limited on campus. Depending on the event, we may be selling parking on a first-come, first-served basis in designated lots. For lots available during events, please see our event calendar.

Disabled parking is very limited and is sold in designated areas. Vehicles with disabled hangtags or plates may park for free in meters greater than 25 minutes if any are available at that time.

If we are not selling at the lot entrance, stop by our office, Room 124 of the WARF Blgd to purchase a permit from our front desk staff.

During weekends, free parking is available in lots 60 unless Special Events employees are staffing the lot entrance.

Natatorium Events

During the week before 4:30 p.m., parking is very limited on campus. Depending on the event, we may be selling parking on a first-come, first-served basis in lots 62.

If we are not selling at the lot entranve, stop by our office, Room 124 of the WARF Blgd to purchase a permit from our front desk staff.

During weekends, free parking is available in lots 36 and 62 unless Special Events employees are staffing the lot entrance.

Disabled parking is very limited. There are a few marked disabled stalls in lots 43, 57, and 62. Vehicles with disabled hangtags or plates may park for free in meters greater than 25 minutes if any are available at that time in lots 43, 57, and 62.

    Arrive by Bike
  • The Missing Link/Capital City Trail runs one block south of campus and provides connections to the Monroe Street area and on south of the beltline, as well as to the east side of Madison. Exit at Breese Terrace and proceed north and across University/Campus Drive via bike/ped bridge to Linden/Elm. Turn left on Observatory.
  • The Howard Termin Lakeshore Path runs north of campus along the shore of Lake Mendota and provides access to Shorewood Hills and Eagle Heights and points west. Exit at Nat or, if coming from the east to Nielsen, exit at the band practice field and continue west for two blocks.
  • The Campus Drive Path runs west and south of campus just north of Campus Drive and provides access to Shorewood Hills and western Madison and Middleton via the Blackhawk Path. For Nat exit at Vet School. For Nielsen exit at Walnut and proceed north to lot 60 and turn left.
  • Gorham Street has bike lanes that provide access from the east and north. Proceed via State Street to Lake to Langdon to the Howard Termin Lakeshore Path as outlined above. /li>
  • Park Street has bike lanes that provide access from the south. Proceed to Howard Termin Lakeshore Path as outlined above.
