Employee and Emeriti Parking Permits

Permit Options and Rates

Step 1: Decide WHEN you need to park – daytime? Evenings? Weekends? How many days per week?

Step 2: Decide WHERE you want to park.

  • Look at a map
  • Single lot for daytime parking – annual base lot and Flex
  • Accessible parking – multiple lots
  • Not accessible parking – multiple locations on campus (Biz alternate), OR afternoon/night surface. Also base lot/Flex permits allow parking in alternate lots after hours and weekends.

Step 3: Compare options [Make a CHART]

Step 4: Apply in PAS OR purchase directly from eBusiness

Step 5: Make alternate arrangements to get to campus while waiting for parking.

Annual Base Lot Permit

The annual base lot permit is best for employees who drive to campus for daytime shifts 3 or more days per week.

Annual base lot permits are assigned to a specific lot. The permit is valid in the assigned lot only from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and in alternate surface lots after hours.

Permit holders may be required to relocate for special events, construction, maintenance, or safety issues. Transportation Services will email relocation information to permit holders at least two days before a known relocation is required. Find special event dates on the events calendar.

Annual UW-Accessible Permit

The Annual UW Accessible permit allows parking in UW-Disabled parking stalls, State of Wisconsin disabled stalls, and unreserved parking stalls across campus. Accessible permits are only issued with proof of a valid State of Wisconsin disabled permit.
