Vehicle and Account Updates

If you have purchased a product from Transportation Services, make sure this information is kept up to date:

  • Vehicle type
  • License plate information
  • Your mailing address
  • Your email address

Report Vehicle Change

If you have a new vehicle and/or new license plate, update your vehicle information with Transportation Services.

You do not need to update your vehicle information if you are driving a different vehicle to campus on a short-term basis, such as a rental car or a loaner vehicle.

Add new vehicle with new license plate

You must add the new vehicle first and license plate first, then remove the outdated information.

  1. Using your NetID or UW Health login credentials, log into the eBusiness portal.
  2. Select “VEHICLES” from the menu at the top of the page.
  3. To add a new vehicle, click “Add Vehicle” or “Add Motorcycle / Moped” and enter your vehicle information.
  4. To remove outdated vehicle information, click the license plate number and select “Delete.”

You will not be able to remove a vehicle when it is linked to an active permit.

To add a new vehicle with a license plate previously registered with Transportation Services, contact customer service.

Keep same vehicle, add new license plate

  1. Using your NetID or UW Health login credentials, log into the eBusiness portal.
  2. Select “VEHICLES” from the menu at the top of the page.
  3. Click “Add Vehicle” or “Add Motorcycle / Moped.” Enter the same vehicle information as your current vehicle along with the new license plate number.
  4. Select “PERMITS” > “View Your Permits” from the menu at the top of the page.
  5. Click the permit number with an “ACTIVE” status.
  6. Click “Add Vehicles to Permit.”
  7. Add the vehicle with the updated license plate information to the permit.
  8. Select “VEHICLES” from the menu at the top of the page.
  9. Click the old license plate number.
  10. Click “delete” to remove the vehicle with outdated information.

Update Mailing or Email Address

Human Resources information updates are not transmitted to Transportation Services.

Please keep your contact information up to date. Transportation Services uses addresses on file to deliver important information and documents, including parking permits and vehicle relocation notices.

Step 1: Log in to eBusiness

Using your NetID or UW Health login credentials, log into the eBusiness portal.

Step 2: Update mailing address

Select “Welcome, [YOUR NAME]!” from the menu at the top of the page.

Click “Manage Your Account Information” in the drop-down menu.

    • To update your current address, click “EDIT” to change the details.
    • You may also add and remove addresses if needed.

Click “Save Edits.”

Step 3: Update email address and set priority

Select “Welcome, [YOUR NAME]!” from the menu at the top of the page.

Click “Manage Your Account Information” in the drop-down menu.

    • Add or remove email addresses as needed. Double-check to make sure your email address is spelled correctly.
    • Click the star to indicate which email address Transportation Services should use to communicate with you.
