Madison BCycle is an urban bike sharing program that is revolutionizing the way Madison moves! There are over 20 active stations throughout Madison, with more stations being rolled out regularly. Enjoy access to 350 bikes at 40 stations throughout the capital city this summer!
UW Transportation Services, in partnership with BCycle, has reduced membership prices for UW students (promo code WISCSTUDENT), employees (promo code WISCFACULTY) and UW Extension employees (promo code UWEXTENSION); just $20 per year with a UW email account. Membership includes all trips 30 minutes or less, with an unlimited number of trips during your membership access period. Please note, usage fees apply for all rides longer than 30 minutes.
In addition to the availability map online, BCycle now also has a smartphone app. Just search 'bcycle' in either the app store (iPhones) or Marketplace (Androids) and it will pull up the free app. It then locates your city via GPS, letting you know of nearby stations.
Madison BCycle annual members traveling to participating BCycle systems across the U.S. can use their annual membership to check out bikes in any of the participating cities just as they do at home.
Participating BCycle locations include: Denver, CO; Boulder, CO; San Antonio, TX; Houston, TX; Spartanburg, SC; Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Kansas City, MO; Omaha, NE; Nashville, TN; Kailua, HI; Fort Worth, TX; Salt Lake City, UT.
See Madison's BCycle Page for details.
