University Avenue & BRT Construction
Impacts expected through Spring 2024.
- East and westbound lane closures on University Avenue from University Bay Drive to Shorewood Boulevard.
- Crosswalks, sidewalks, and bus stops impacted. Pedestrian detour signage and temporary bus stops in place.

Veterinary Medicine Addition
Impacts expected through Spring 2024.
- Linden Drive permanently closed from Easterday Lane to Colwood Drive. Use Willow Creek Bridge to access Vet Diagnostic Lab.
- Easterday Lane closed from Observatory Drive to Linden Drive until 2024.
- Metro Transit bus stop relocated in front of Lot 67.
Material Science Partial Demolition
Impacts expected through April 2024.
- Pedestrian paths west and east of Material Science & Engineering closed.
- North side access to Material Science remains open.
- Access to Engineering Research east entrance through Engineering Mall remains open.
Engineering Drive Utilities
Impacts expected from March 2024 through Summer 2024.
- Sidewalks closed on both sides of Engineering Drive from Engineering Hall park to Engineering Mall. Pedestrians follow detour signage on site.
- Access to Engineering Hall and Engineering Research will remain open.
- Access to Lots 14, 17, and 114 will remain open.
- Temporary road will be installed to shift vehicle traffic around the construction site.
Engineering 1410 Occupant Relocation
Impacts expected from January through March 2024.
- Sidewalk will be closed on the east side of Randall Avenue for 50 feet near the north end of Wendt Commons.
CDIS Construction
Impacts expected to last through December 2024.
- Left lane of University Avenue closed from Park Street to Orchard Street. Protected temporary walkway and bike path available around work area.
- Northern Johnson Street traffic lane and sidewalk closed from Orchard Street to Charter Street. Protected walkway available on Johnson Street around work area.
- Orchard Street closed from University Avenue to Johnson Street. Detour via Randall Avenue or Charter Street. Accessible sidewalk available along Orchard Street.
- Lot 22 permanently closed.
Irving & Dorothy Levy Hall
Impacts expected from January 2024 through 2025.
- Northern lane and sidewalk of Johnson Street closed from Davis Residence Hall to Park Street.
- Right lane and eastern sidewalk of Park Street closed from Johnson Street to Clymer Place.
- Clymer Place closed from N. Brooks Street to Park Street.
- Lot 61 will permanently close.
- Lot 112 will permanently close.
South Campus Utilities
Impacts expected to last through 2024.
- Westbound lane of Dayton Street closed from Brooks Street to East Campus Mall.
- Protected walkway available around construction site on northwest side of Park & Dayton intersection.
- Northeast corner of Park & Dayton intersection closed. Pedestrians follow detour signage on site.
Kohl Center Addition
Impacts expected to last through 2024.
- Lots 78 and 88 closed.
- East Campus Mall narrowed to a 10-foot bike and pedestrian path.
Fluno center Garage Renovation
Impacts expected to last through January 2024.
- Parking lane of Lake Street closed from Lot 138 driveway for 50 feet.
- Fluno Center Garage closed. Lot 46 remains open with limited visitor parking.
- Lot 138 and circular drive remain open for pick up/drop off.
