Various bus lines have service to, through, and from Madison. See information below on some companies with on-campus stop locations.
- Badger Bus offers seven round trips daily between Madison and downtown Milwaukee, including Mitchell Airport, Goerke’s Corner and Milwaukee 84th Street. Service begins at 3:30 a.m. in Madison, with the last return trip arriving at the Memorial Union at midnight. Badger Bus offers Friday and Sunday service during the spring and fall college semesters to Minneapolis, with stops at UW-LaCrosse, University of Minnesota Coffman Union, the MPLS/St. Paul Airport, and downtown Minneapolis. Badger also offers Friday and Sunday service between the UW-Milwaukee campus and Madison. Two Madison area pick-up locations: the “Intercity Bus Loading Zone” at south side of Langdon Street near N. Park Street; the intersection of West Johnson Street and Wisconsin Avenue near the MATC downtown location. - Greyhound Bus Lines serves Madison and various metropolitan areas (Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, etc.). Bus pick-up at the south corner of Langdon Street and N. Park Street; look for “Intercity Bus Loading Zone”. Contact at (800) 231-2222.
- Jefferson Lines serves the UW-Madison campus, with daily service to Minneapolis. Discount with College Connection service. Pick-up location across from the Memorial Union; look for “Intercity Bus Loading Zone.” Contact at (800) 451-5333.
- Megabus provides service between Madison, Chicago, and Minneapolis. Pick-up location at south side of Langdon Street near N. Park Street, across from the Memorial Union; look for “Intercity Bus Loading Zone.” Contact at 1-877-GO2-MEGA (1-877-462-6342).
- Van Galder Bus Company provides daily round-trip service between Madison and Chicago O’Hare Airport and downtown Amtrak station. Pick-up location at south side of Langdon Street near N.
