Daily permits provide reserved on-campus parking for visitors and event guests. They may be purchased by UW departments, organizations not affiliated with the university, or individuals.
The permit guarantees a parking spot in a specific lot. They can be valid for multiple days, depending on how long your event or visit will last.

How to Purchase Daily Permits
Complete the form below to order value permits. Allow two weeks for processing.
Outside organizations and individuals may pay with a credit card or check. Permits will be mailed to the address provided on the order form.
UW departments must provide a Transportation Services cost center number (TS#) to cover the cost of the order. Departments must pick up their value permit order at a Transportation Services office location.

Daily Permit Costs and Refunds
Half-day permits are $9 each. Full-day permits are $15 each. Visit our rates page.
Unused value passes are non-refundable after the valid date.
A 50% refund is available if the order is returned a minimum of two days before their start date.

How to Use Daily Permits
Daily permits allow parking in a specific parking garage or surface lot.
Surface Lot Parking Instructions
The permit must be hung on the vehicle’s rearview mirror with the lot number facing out.
Garage Parking Instructions

Guests must scan the permit at the parking garage entry and exit.
If the “Lot Full” sign is lit, guests may proceed to park in the lot. (“Lot Full” means there is no more space available for hourly visitor parking only.)
The permit must be hung on the vehicle’s rearview mirror with the lot number facing out.

Rules and Restrictions
- UW departments and outside organizations are responsible for distributing daily permits before guests arrive on campus.
- Daily permits are valid even if the lot is reserved for a different special event.
- The permit must be hung on the vehicle’s rearview mirror with the lot number facing out.
- Unused daily permits are not refundable after the valid date. A 50% refund is available if the order is returned at least two days before the earliest valid date.
If you need a daily permit for a date within two weeks from today, please come to a Transportation Services office location to purchase a parking option for a surface lot OR consider an hourly visitor parking option.
