- Do not park in or walk through blocked-off areas.
- Do not move cones or caution tape.
- Drive carefully and watch for workers.

Elevator repair and modernization | March through August 2026
The west main elevator (#1) will receive a new hydraulic jack. Both elevators will be modernized.
One of two elevators on the west side of the parking garage (near the hospital entrance) will be out of service during the project. Most ADA accessible parking has been relocated to Level 1.
What to expect:
- Wait times at the west elevators will be longer than usual.
- Elevators on the northeast corner of the parking garage (closest to the Health Sciences Learning Center) are available, unless otherwise noted.
- Please allow extra travel time in case of delays.
Stairwell and lobby climate control installation | Through August 2026
Heating and cooling systems are being installed in the main west stairwells and elevator lobbies.
What to expect:
- Workers may be present in the main west stairwells and elevator lobbies.
Structural repairs | Through fall 2026
Work to repair important structural features of the garage have caused detours on parking garage levels 1, 2 and 3.
What to expect:
- Detours in the parking garage will remain in place throughout the summer.
- Detours may be modified if additional repairs are required.

A system of colors and symbols will be painted on each level to assist patients and visitors remember where they parked.
