Afternoon and night permits
Permits purchased now are valid through August 31, 2026.
Permits for the next parking year are available August 1.
Afternoon
Access to multiple UW garages and lots starting at 2 p.m. through overnight and all day on weekends. Additional lots become available after 4:30 p.m.
Night garage
Access to a specific UW campus garage from 4:30 p.m. through overnight and all day on weekends.
Night surface
Valid in multiple UW surface lots from 4:30 p.m. through overnight and all day on weekends.

Motorcycle and moped permits
Permits purchased now are valid through August 31, 2026.
Permits for the next parking year are available August 1.
Motorcycle
Valid for daily parking in motorcycle stalls across campus.
Check the motorcycle map or stall types page for locations.
Moped
Valid for daily parking in one designated moped lot and all-access lots. Mopeds must be registered to the current owner and display a valid license plate to park on campus.

Lot 76 Quick Passes
Passes purchased now are valid through August 31, 2026.
Passes for the next parking year are available August 1.
What the Quick Pass includes:
- Convenient access to University Hospitals and Clinics.
- Valid for 5 days of parking ($12/day) in Lot 76 (University Bay Drive Ramp).
- A flat $12 fee is deducted the first time you enter each day.
- You can leave and return as many times as you like within the same calendar day for no extra charge.
Charges are based on the calendar day (12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.). Staying past midnight will trigger a new $12 deduction for the next day.
Eligibility
You must be a UW, UW Health, or student employee to purchase a Quick Pass.

Purchasing requirements
To make a purchase, you need:
- A valid NetID, UW Health credentials, or a guest account
- Vehicle make, model, year and license plate number
- Mailing address
- Valid credit card
- To have paid all citations and other fees due to UW-Madison Transportation Services

Policies, resources and support
When purchasing a permit, please note:
- Permit availability is limited and subject to change.
- Construction or special events may require you to relocate to a nearby lot. We notify permit holders and provide alternative parking areas in these cases.
- All citations and other unpaid fees due to UW-Madison Transportation Services must be paid before applying for or accepting a parking assignment.
To avoid citations, towing and other penalties, permit holders must follow these and all other applicable Transportation Services policies:
- Parking permits must be properly displayed.
- Vehicles may not be continuously parked in a facility for more than 72 hours without exiting, unless authorization is granted by Transportation Services.
