The 2018-19 parking year starts Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019. Make sure you have the right product for the new parking year!
- All vehicles parked in controlled UW lots must display a valid 2018-19 UW parking permit (purple color) or risk citation and tow. 2017-18 permits (red) expired Aug. 31, 2018. All expired permits should be removed and disposed of, preferably by recycling.
- 2018-19 employee bus passes (green color) are valid starting September 1. All 2017-18 bus passes (orange) can be discarded.
A reminder that hours of control for Lot 51 (by 30 N. Mills Street) and the daily visitor parking rate in gated lots (ramps/garages) have also changed effective September 1. Full policy announcement
All Transportation Services offices are closed on Monday, Sept. 3 for the Labor Day holiday. Offices will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
Need to purchase a 2018-19 permit?
2018-19 motorcycle, moped, afternoon and night permits are available for purchase and do not need UTC approval. Purchase directly through the eBusiness portal.
Base lot or Flex permits: Employees–if you do not have or have not had a parking permit in the past, you must contact your Unit Transportation Coordinator (UTC) for approval to apply for the 2018-19 parking year. Application instructions are available on the parking permits page.
Students have a different parking procedure.

Need a 2018-19 bus pass?
Employee bus passes can be ordered online (click “Get permits”) or in-person at one of the Transportation Services offices. All passes ordered online will be mailed to the address confirmed at checkout. Employee bus pass program details
