Campus bus routes will be on a reduced recess schedule for winter break, Dec. 22 – Jan. 21. No service on Dec. 23-25 and Dec. 31 – Jan. 1. Regular service resumes Jan. 22.
The finals week overnight shuttle pilot is back! This fare-free shuttle service runs between College Library and University Residence Halls Dec. 14-20 from midnight – 6 a.m.
The Madison Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 11 will travel through downtown Madison and a section of the UW-Madison campus. Bus route detours are in place and delays should be expected.

The UW Homecoming parade on Friday, Oct. 19 will temporarily close streets on the far east side of campus near Langdon Street and State Street. Traffic and various Metro Transit routes will detour.
N. Charter Street from W. Johnson Street to University Avenue is closed in both directions from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. One lane of southbound traffic is available in evening and early morning hours.
Late night Metro Transit routes 2, 5, 28, and 81 will detour 9/11 10 p.m. – 9/12 6 a.m. due to road closures.
The Madison Ironman is Sunday, Sept. 9. The marathon route impacts several campus roads. Expect detours and delays.
The repaving project on University Bay Drive by Lot 60 and 76 has resumed. Access to the lots will be available at all times.
The 2018-19 parking year starts September 1, 2018. Make sure you have your new parking permit, bus pass, or bicycle cage/locker set up! All Transportation Services offices are closed on Labor Day.
