Closures are planned for the bus stop in front of Van Hise Hall due to construction. Metro routes 28, 38, 65, 80 and 84 will be affected. Those who need assistance with drop-off or pick-up near Van Hise Hall are encouraged to schedule rides with the UW accessible shuttle during the closures. Holiday office hours and transit impacts – December 2023 and January 2024
Legal holidays on Dec. 25, Jan. 1, and Jan. 15 will cause Transportation Services office closures, reduced Madison Metro Transit service, and other service reductions. There will be additional Transportation Services office closures due to construction in the WARF Building.

Ironman 2023 to cause campus area traffic detours
The Wisconsin Ironman event is Sunday, Sept. 10 and consists of routes traveling through the Madison area and UW–Madison campus. The marathon course passes through much of campus and will cause detours and delays. Runners are anticipated on the course from 11 a.m. to midnight.
