Holiday Impacts (Office Hours, Bus) — December 2018 and January 2019

The legal holidays on December 24-25, December 31, January 1, and January 21 will cause closures of all Transportation Services offices and a reduction in services for Madison Metro Transit.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES OFFICE HOURS

All Transportation Services offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24-25. Only the WARF office will be open (no AFCH, 21 N. Park) December 26-28, with reduced service hours of 7: 15 a.m. – 4 p.m. All offices will also be closed on Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1. Regular office hours for all offices resume on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

All Transportation Services offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21. Regular office hours resume on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

MADISON METRO TRANSIT

Madison Metro buses will operate on a holiday schedule on December 25 and January 1. Regular weekday service will be available until 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24; all standing paratransit rides are cancelled after 6 p.m. All standing paratransit rides are cancelled December 25 and January 1; paratransit passengers must schedule casual rides to travel.

Metro operates on a Saturday schedule on Monday, Jan. 21 due to reduced ridership. Check the Metro Transit holidays service page for more details.

No campus routes (80, 81, 82, 84) operate December 23-25 and January 1. Route 80 and 84 will operate on a “recess weekday” schedule on Monday, Jan. 21.

Reminder: from Saturday, Dec. 22 – Monday, Jan. 21, campus bus service (Routes 80, 81, 82, 84) will be on “recess service.” Only Routes 80 and 84 operate during recess periods. Regular campus service resumes Tuesday, Jan. 22.
