Here are some updates on the ongoing construction projects that affect campus traffic patterns. Reminder: project dates are subject to change due to weather or other factors.
Chemistry addition project – N. Mills Street
Weather permitting, N. Mills Street between University Avenue and Johnson Street will be closed to two-way traffic from the evening of Friday, July 28 until early Monday morning, July 1. Southbound traffic to be restored Monday morning.
Observatory Drive eastbound lane closed near Highland Avenue
Starting July 1, a week-long project will close the eastbound lane of Observatory Drive between Highland Avenue and the driveway to Cooper Hall (Lot 85). Only westbound traffic will be allowed. Eastbound traffic can detour to Marsh Drive or use University Avenue to access Walnut Drive. Two-way traffic is expected to be open on Monday, July 8.

Dayton Street utility project update
Work continues on the Dayton Street utility replacement project. Updates:
- The intersection of Dayton/Charter has reopened–northbound traffic can now pass through the intersection and westbound traffic is available onto Dayton.
- After a delay, the closure of the westbound lanes from the Sellery loading dock area up to the Dayton Street/N. Park Street intersection will start July 1. The project will last six weeks. Westbound traffic will detour using Lake or Frances Streets to University Avenue. Three weeks into the project, the eastbound lanes will also close.

Linden Drive storm drain replacement
The storm drain project continues on Linden Drive from Babcock Drive to Henry Mall. The area is closed to two-way traffic for a storm drain repair project. Westbound and eastbound traffic should take am alternate route, such as Observatory Drive between Babcock and Charter. The north sidewalk is open, but access may be unavailable on parts of the south sidewalk.
