Construction to impact parking at UW Hospital June 6-23

A project to upgrade parking equipment at the entrance and exit gates of UW Hospital Ramp (Lot 75) and the Children’s Hospital Garage (Lot 63) will impact visitor and permit holder parking throughout June.

  • Lot 63 (Children’s Hospital Garage) will be affected June 6 – 9.
  • Lot 75 (UW Hospital Ramp) will be affected June 10 – 23

During the above timeframes, visitors will not be able to pull tickets upon entering the parking garage. Without a validation, visitors will be charged a $12 flat fee for a parking session.

Validations may be obtained at the UW Hospital check-in desk, registration, Guest Depot, and/or the Security and Emergency Department. Please note that operating hours for these locations may vary. For more information about obtaining parking validations from specific locations, please contact the University Hospital.

Visitors may also choose to park in Lot 76 (University Bay Drive Ramp) and pay for hourly parking instead of paying the $12 flat fee in Lot 63 or Lot 75. For shorter parking sessions, the hourly rate in Lot 76 will be less than the $12 fee in Lot 63. See map below for lot locations.

Visitors and permit holders may be affected by periodic lane reductions at ramp entrances and/or exits. Please prepare for some congestion and delays. Please drive carefully, use caution, and be aware of construction workers.

Project dates are subject to change due to construction requirements and other factors. Please refer to this web post for updates.
