Check your route: more Metro Transit route adjustments in effect

Campus bus route 80 travels down Linden Drive as the sun sets.

Madison Metro Transit has adjusted its redesigned system of bus schedules based on passenger and driver feedback.

Go to Madison Metro’s updated system maps and schedules >>.

The new bus system launched in June. The recent round of service adjustments went into effect on August 20. Metro is planning further modifications in December.

Community members can provide feedback on the new system by calling Madison Metro at (608) 266-4466 or emailing mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com.

Madison Metro states that all feedback is reviewed and considered when looking at potential changes.

Could the new bus system work for you?

New and returning students, faculty, and staff should review Metro’s new bus routes. Some bus rides may be shorter than before, and there may be less waiting between buses. Other trips may require additional transfers, or it may take longer to travel to the nearest bus stop.

Riding the bus may be easier and more accessible than before for some UW community members. Enter a starting point and destination in Google to check a route, or contact Commuter Solutions for custom route planning assistance.
