Madison Metro Transit has recently released an announcement explaining the reasons for ongoing disruptions to bus service, including cancellations on some routes serving the UW–Madison campus. Read the announcement on Metro Transit’s website.
Metro Transit expects the underlying causes of the disruptions to be largely resolved by the end of October.
Metro Transit is maintaining a service disruption webpage, and their bus tracker app will reflect delayed and canceled buses. Riders are encouraged to use these tools to plan ahead when traveling by bus.
Transportation Services is working with UW campus leadership and Metro Transit to ensure bus service to UW campus is maintained while Metro resolves its fleet issues.
