UW–Madison Fleet Services rates will increase by 8% in fiscal year 2027. New rates go into effect on July 1.
This change applies to daily base rates and mileage rates for short-term (motor pool) and long-term vehicle rentals.
The rate increase is due to rising costs for vehicles, vehicle parts, repairs, and maintenance.
Rates for fiscal year 2027 compared to last year’s rates can be found in the charts on this page and on the FY27 Fleet rate sheet (PDF download). Please note that daily base rates for motor pool (short-term) rentals include a $0.75 collision fee.
