Roadway and path detours at Lakeshore Nature Preserve to affect drivers, buses, bicyclists and pedestrians

Site preparation for the future Lakeshore Nature Preserve Frautschi Center has begun. To make way for the new building, portions of University Bay Drive, Lakeshore Path, and the parking lot near the Picnic Point entrance are being relocated and improved.

Road, bus, biking and pedestrian access will continue throughout the closures, but there will be intermittent road and path detours November 12–16. Completion of the new road and path is expected by November 30.

  • Closure dates and details are subject to change due to weather and other factors. Refer to the map for details.
