Crazylegs 2018 Run/Walk to shut campus roads and lots and detour buses
The Crazylegs Run/Walk on April 28 will detour traffic on campus from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Certain roads and lots will be closed.
Shamrock Shuffle Detours – 3/17/18
The annual race will travel throughout downtown and east campus, causing bus detours and potential traffic delays.
Part of Lake Street temporarily closed through March 9
Construction on the Hamel Music Center shuts down part of Lake Street (southbound between State and University) through March 9.
2018 WIAA State Tournaments
WIAA Individual Wrestling and Boys Basketball state tournaments will relocate many permit holders and bring additional traffic to campus and downtown.

College GameDay traffic impacts
ESPN College GameDay filming will heavily impact traffic patterns around Bascom Hill. Permit holders will be relocated and bus routes detoured.
Madison Marathon campus detours
Madison Marathon routes go through campus, causing traffic and bus detours on November 12. Expect delays between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Freakfest 2017 Detours
Freakfest detours in effect Oct. 27 – 29. Downtown streets to be closed, affecting vehicle and bus routes.
Part of Observatory Drive one-way on 10/26/17
The switchback area of Observatory Drive will be closed the evening on October 26 for a fiber optic project.
