A steam construction project will close N. Charter Street from W. Johnson Street to Lot 22 (Service Building). Two lanes on W. Johnson Street will be closed at N. Charter street. Projects start August 6.
Construction/Detours
Lot 95 entrance/exit repaving the week of July 30
Access to Lot 95 (Health Sciences Garage) will be maintained during the project, July 30 – August 3.
WARF Building roof repairs to shut stalls in Lot 64, 65
Repairs on the WARF Building’s roof will occur July 16-18, closing some stalls in Lot 64 and 65.
Section of Linden Drive to close at Babcock Drive
A portion of Linden Drive in front of Babcock Hall will be closed from 9-11 a.m. on July 16. Vehicles should use Observatory Drive for access around the closed area.
Lot 13 partially closed July 16 – August 1
Permit parking stalls in Lot 13 will be closed while new light poles and a new motorcycle pad are placed.
Section of N. Charter Street to close July 16

Section of N. Lake Street closed June 25-26, buses detour
The 400 block of N. Lake Street will be closed June 25-26. Madison Metro bus routes 80, 4, 6, and 29 will detour.
Babcock Hall construction to impact Lot 40
Much of Lot 40 by Babcock Hall will be closed starting July 5. The closure will last for approximately three years.
Lot 664 and part of Lot 37 closed
Several stalls in Lot 37 and all moped stalls in Lot 664 are closed through August. Lot 664 permit holders can park in Lot 665.
Repaving on Observatory Drive and Linden Drive – June 5-6
Repaving projects on June 5 – 6 will affect some parking stalls in Lot 26 and access from Linden Drive into Lot 62. Two-way traffic will continue per usual.
