Holiday Impacts (Office hours, bus) – July 2018
The Independence Day (July 4) holiday will close Transportation Services offices and affect bus service.
Section of N. Charter Street to close July 16
A steam construction project will close N. Charter Street from W. Johnson Street to Lot 22 (Service Building).
Section of N. Lake Street closed June 25-26, buses detour
The 400 block of N. Lake Street will be closed June 25-26. Madison Metro bus routes 80, 4, 6, and 29 will detour.
Babcock Hall construction to impact Lot 40
Much of Lot 40 by Babcock Hall will be closed starting July 5. The closure will last for approximately three years.
Lot 664 and part of Lot 37 closed
Several stalls in Lot 37 and all moped stalls in Lot 664 are closed through August. Lot 664 permit holders can park in Lot 665.
Teal-Tate named Associate Director of Parking
She will begin work on July 9.
First round of parking applications closed
Parking applications for 2018-19 are closed until July 13. Offer for applications submitted during the first application period (May 21 – June 8) will be sent July 13 -19.
Repaving on Observatory Drive and Linden Drive – June 5-6
Repaving projects on June 5 – 6 will affect some parking stalls in Lot 26 and access from Linden Drive into Lot 62. Two-way traffic will continue per usual.
Run Madtown events to close select campus roads May 26-27
Several race events this weekend with travel through the UW-Madison campus, causing temporary road closures and some bus route detours.
