The legal holiday of Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 28 and the unofficial “holiday” on Friday, Nov. 29 will cause closures of certain Transportation Services offices and a reduction in services for Madison Metro Transit.
Reminder: certain parking restrictions are waived on Friday, Nov. 29 to accommodate employees who cannot easily travel to campus during Metro Transit’s modified service schedule.
Transportation Services customer service offices
All Transportation Services offices are closed Thursday, Nov. 28.
Only the WARF office will be open Friday, Nov. 29 (no AFCH or 21 N. Park), with shortened hours of operation of 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Metro Transit schedules
Madison Metro buses operate on a holiday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 28. All campus routes (80, 81, 82, 84) will not operate. On Friday and Saturday (Nov. 29 and 30), campus routes 80 and 84 operate on a recess schedule (no 81, 82).
Other Metro routes will run a Saturday schedule on Friday, Nov. 29. All standing paratransit rides on Thursday and Friday are cancelled. Paratransit passengers must schedule casual rides to travel on this date.

- University Bicycle Resource Center closed November 27-29
- UW park and ride locations (Lot 202 and 203) are closed November 28, so no shuttle service; park and rides are open and shuttles run November 29
