Thousands of visitors will be in Madison and the campus area Thursday, August 28 as the Wisconsin Badgers kick off their 2025 football season against the Miami University RedHawks.
Parking on the UW-Madison campus will be affected. Transportation Services will email specific parking information to permit holders based on their assigned lot. A general overview of game day parking is provided below.
Alternatives to driving to campus on August 28
Employees are encouraged to work with their supervisors to arrange flexible or remote work on August 28, if possible. For those who need to be on campus, please consider alternatives to driving alone, such as carpooling, biking, or taking the bus. We can help plan your route.
