Due to holiday-related reduced Metro Transit bus service, some parking restrictions will be waived on the UW–Madison campus Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. However, a Badgers home football game Friday at 11 a.m. will impact parking availability on campus.

Commuters can expect delays for UW Housing fall semester move-in and some campus roadways will close or be limited to one-way traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday football game parking: Aug. 30, 2024
Thousands of visitors will be in Madison as the Badgers kick off their 2024 football season with a Friday night game against Western Michigan. Parking on campus will be affected. A general overview is provided in this web post. Transportation Services will email specific information to permit holders based on their assigned lot.

League of American Bicyclists courses to be hosted in May and June
UW Transportation Services will host the League of American Bicyclists courses Smart Cycling: Traffic Skills 101 (May 21) and League Cycling Instructor Seminar (June 10-12). These events will take place at the WARF building, 610 Walnut St., Room 132.
Parking Restrictions for the 2020 Football Season Opener
Parking is restricted to permit holder and essential workers in campus lots on Friday, Oct. 23. No tailgating or gatherings will be allowed.
Credit and debit cards accepted for day-of special event parking
Starting with the Wisconsin vs. New Mexico football game on Sept. 8, credit and debit cards can be used to purchase game day parking.
