Upcoming road closures and detours starting July 22
Additional road and lane closures (Charter Street, Dayton Street) are coming to central and southeast campus the week of July 22.
Lakeshore Nature Preserve parking changes
Parking for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve is getting a makeover! Lot 130 is temporarily closed July 5 until early September. Visitors can use Lot 129 or overflow parking in the east end of Lot 60.

Upcoming road closures and detours – June 24
Construction season is in full force! Several projects affecting campus roads (Dayton, Linden) are anticipated to start June 24.
Observatory Drive westbound only from Bascom Hall to Charter Street
Observatory Drive between Charter Street and Bascom Hall/Lot 11 is westbound traffic only starting May 20. The closure is expected to last about two weeks.
Major Bascom Hill utility project getting underway this month
A three stage project to replace antiquated utilities under Bascom Hill begins later this month and will last until December 2020. Utility work will close some sidewalk areas and occasionally interrupt vehicle traffic.
Dayton Street closures between Charter Street and Park Street
A steam tunnel project will cause closures on W. Dayton Street from Charter to Mills Street, then Mills to Park Street. Route 80 buses and other vehicle traffic will detour. Project starts April 8 and will last through November 2019.

Updates on the N. Charter Street and N. Mill Street construction projects, and details on lane changes coming to University Avenue between those two streets.
Section of N. Mills Street closes November 12
Heads up! N. Mills Street between University Avenue and W. Johnson Street will close on Monday, Nov. 12. No through traffic will be allowed for approximately three weeks. Some pedestrian areas will also close.
