Update, October 31: Due to construction issues, a stretch of eastbound Observatory Drive near Ingraham Hall and the Sewell Social Science Building will remain closed until November 17. Part of Linden Drive between Agriculture Hall and the Microbial Sciences Building is also closed in both directions for several weeks.

Observatory Drive to fully close near Veterinary Medicine, August 15-19
Observatory Drive will temporarily close in both directions near the Veterinary Medicine construction site. This closure will significantly limit options for thru vehicle traffic between the east and west sides of campus. It will also impact travel for in- and outbound traffic and cause Metro Transit detours.
North Park Street, Walnut Street construction impacts starting week of July 11
Two new construction projects — North Park Street at Observatory Drive and Walnut Street at Observatory Drive — will impact campus travel over the next several weeks.

Upcoming construction projects will cause lane closures on Charter Street, Walnut Street, and University Avenue/University Bay Drive. The closures impact vehicles, bicycles, buses, and pedestrians traveling to and from campus.
Construction impacts affect traffic and pedestrian routes near Charter St. and Lathrop Dr.
Expect motor vehicle, transit, and cycling detours as Charter Street near Chamberlain Hall will close through late January. A section of western Lathrop Street closes December 20, meaning no thru traffic on the road.
Construction impacts affect traffic and pedestrian routes on University Avenue
Starting November 15, construction will impact traffic lanes and pedestrian-bicycle routes on University Avenue between Mills and Charter Streets. Work is expected to last until March 2022.
